ava&yves: cuddly toys, cuddly bears, rag dolls, cuddle cloths & Co.

The label ava&yves was founded in 2013 by Geraldine Koppmann and is based in Steinhagen near Bielefeld. Geraldine is a mother of two sons herself and knows exactly what children want. The graduate graphic designer worked for an international media group for several years before founding her own label ava&yves. It all actually started with fine and self-designed stationery products. The lovingly illustrated postcards from Geraldine were so well received by customers that the label's range quickly expanded. Today, ava&yves products are sold worldwide. The studio and warehouse are in Steinhagen and all products are still shipped in-house.

 

Geraldine gets her biggest inspiration from her own children and the illustrations and designs of the products are all her own. The designs should have a line and create a coherent picture despite the different materials. This is how magical cuddly toys, cuddle cloths, baby rattles and more are created, all of which have a story to tell and which can accompany your child throughout their childhood.

Sustainable production and organic certified materials

When manufacturing ava&yves products, great importance is attached to sustainability. Wherever possible, organically certified materials are used. In the field of environmental protection, the label is committed to pollutant-free production and short distances. The environmental aspect plays just as important a role at ava&yves as the social and economic aspects of the company. The label wants to operate in a sustainable manner in order to leave our children and grandchildren an intact ecological, social and economic structure.

The material is certified organic and the products are certified according to the EN71 toy safety standard, so you can let your child play with peace of mind and absolutely free of toxic substances.
