Baby Bello: Enchanting accessories and toys for the nursery

The founder and designer of Baby Bello is Martijn Kamminga. The young designer comes from a very creative family, his mother was a successful ballet dancer and his father works as an interior designer. Martijn has just completed his master's degree in Business & Accounting. He grew up with Dutch design and a lot of aesthetics. He prefers soft colours and simple designs for his products, which he designs himself. Baby Bello is all about Dutch design.

Sustainability is part of the Baby Bello concept

Martijn is committed to producing Baby Bello's toys and accessories in a sustainable way. Baby Bello not only cares for the children, but also for the planet. The needs of the present and future generations are taken into account. Care is taken to ensure that everything takes place in a cycle so that the raw materials can renew themselves.

All stages of production and the supply chain are strictly controlled from this point of view, so that ethics are assured. Organic cotton is used, which is produced without synthetic or toxic pesticides. When the soil improves, gas emissions are better and biodiversity is enhanced. The health of those who harvest the cotton is not affected and less energy and water is used.

The fillings of the cuddly toys and pillows are made exclusively from recycled polyester and only environmentally friendly dyes are used, as well as FSC certified wood. It is about responsible forest management, it is FSC certified wood from China, which reduces deforestation. The Baby Bello collections, for example, are inspired by endangered animals to raise awareness of this issue and to create more awareness of the importance of these animals among children and parents. With every purchase Baby Bello donates a portion of the proceeds to Fresk Vonk's No Wildlife Crime Foundation.
