BigStuffed designs soft toys with innovative design and exceptional character, which are also an aesthetic enrichment for adults. Since 2013, the label, with its huge and at the same time very unusual stuffed animals, has inspired the young and old. The design pieces find a place on the designer sofa as well as in the nursery. Not only do the children get acquainted with the strange and fragile underwater world, the manatees, whales, squid and octopus can only be loved and adopted. The sea creatures are made in France exclusively in loving handwork. Plush fur and telling eyes are not the only special feature of these uniquely designed sea creatures.

BigStuffed: Exceptional sea creatures for the nursery

Dana Muskat from Israel is the founder of BigStuffed. Her first marine animal was an albino octopus, which she made as a welcome gift for her little niece. She wanted to give her something out of the ordinary. The reaction to the stuffed animal was overwhelming. Gradually, she realized that these creatures could also delight other children and parents, and she began to design plush animals with great attention to detail.

Dana Muskat comes from the fashion industry. She studied fashion design and already worked for large design houses in Paris. With the foundation of her own children's label, she wanted to set new horizons and implement her passion for light and pure colors in her marine animals.

The products of BigStuffed are unique and distinctive and are looking for a new owner to adopt them. Each animal is associated with a special feeling and has a unique look, which is due especially to the special and sometimes sad looking eyes. BigStuffed is Dana's version of the story of the ugly duckling.

Animals of the ocean made of plush in brigth colors and great design

BigStuffed's unique ideas have been inspired by all sorts of animals, from aquatic animals to orphaned land creatures to pets, and the shape, colors and textures are just special and a real treat for the little ones.

Dana's design goal is to simplify the complex shape so that the sea creatures can be cushioned and cuddled if necessary. The fabrics are mainly made from natural cotton and wool, combined with soft plastic shades in pure and light colors with bold accents.

Handmade cuddly toys with a lot of love

The studio of BigStuffed is located in Paris. Here Dana creates her patterns and selects the materials carefully, decides on the look of the eyes and shapes the body.

100% of the stuffed animals by BigStuffed are handmade in a small studio by experienced seamstresses. The result is long-lasting stuffed and cuddly animals, which show the love and care with which they were made. Sewn by devoted seamstresses, who are professionals in their field and work with passion. This creates a true quality product.
