The children's brand Búho was founded in 2010 to offer children and parents real favorite items. Inés, the founder of the brand, is inspired by designing favorite pieces with a personal touch for children. You will find a selected selection of colors and prints on carefully selected and soft fabrics used in garments such as rompers, bodysuits, hats, pants, baby pants and sweaters. The materials consist of organic cotton as well as recycled and upcycled fabrics in a simple and high quality style. Production takes place mainly locally in Portugal and France to support environmental protection and sustainability.

Inés Surinyach and Olivier Andrieux are the founders of the label. Inés is the main designer of Búho. Her inspiration are favorite items of clothing that everyone is sure to know from their own childhood. Her favorite piece of clothing as a child was a lumberjack-style plaid shirt that her parents brought her from Canada. It was simple and comfortable and Inés' favorite piece of clothing.

Inés had developed a passion for fashion since she was a child. At that time, your grandmother had a sewing room. Inés loved to hang out there and sew clothes for her dolls. She later studied fashion design and worked for several years for international fashion companies. When her two children Marc and Chloé were born, she decided to start her own brand, something she had dreamed of for a long time. The project grew within three years and Olivier joined. Today he is responsible for marketing, while Inés takes care of the artistic aspects and the design of the clothes. Inés was inspired by the idea that her children should also have a favorite piece of clothing, such as the lumberjack shirt that she loved to wear back then. The result is a great selection of very special children's clothes made of different fabrics and textures, all of which are magically soft, comfortable and cuddly.
