The Danish toy label dantoy has been on the market for over 50 years. Dantoy works with bioplastic, which is made from sugar cane and bamboo fiber and is 100 percent recyclable after use.

dantoy is the largest Scandinavian manufacturer of plastic toys. The plastic toy from dantoy has had the international quality certificate ISO 9001 since 1992. There are many efforts to offer a consistently high quality standard. The products are checked regularly and comply with the European safety standard EN 71 for toys.

Dantoy is particularly proud of the “Nordic Swan” eco-label because it is the first toy that has qualified for this label. All organic plastic toys have been certified since 2010. The toy must meet strict requirements for the plastic mixture. It must not contain any pollutants such as phatalates, perfumes, BPA or environmental hormones. Requirements for the safety and quality of the toy must also be met.

Bio-plastic minimizes the CO2 content of the atmosphere and the sugar cane used for this comes from controlled and non-toxic plantations in central and southern Brazil. The sugar cane is harvested every six to twelve months. It is a 100% sustainable raw material. The products can be 100% recycled after use.

The tiny line is a product line made from bio-plastic and TPE plastic, which has been designed for children from the age of zero. Plastic made from sugar cane and bamboo to protect the environment

Bioplastic consists of at least 90 percent sugar cane instead of crude oil, as in conventional PE. The area approved for sugar cane cultivation is controlled by Sugarcane Agreocological Zoning, an arm of the Brazilian government. The sugar cane is transported by train because it is more environmentally friendly than by truck. Bioplastics are produced using the same machines and systems as conventional plastics, so there is no need to invest again.

Many dantoy toys are packaged in gift boxes made from recycled paper and can be easily gift-wrapped. Here too, dantoy pays attention to environmental friendliness and sustainability.
