dantoy: Sustainable quality toys made from bioplastic
dantoy is the largest Scandinavian manufacturer of plastic toys. Many childcare facilities in over 50 countries appreciate the toy made of bioplastic not only because of its environmental friendliness, but also because it is of high quality and guarantees long-lasting, educational and imaginative fun with learning aspects and promotes child development.
The plastic toy from dantoy has had the international quality certificate ISO 9001 since 1992. There are many efforts to offer a consistently high quality standard. The products are checked regularly and comply with the European safety standard EN 71 for toys.
Dantoy is particularly proud of the “Nordic Swan” eco-label because it is the first toy that has qualified for this label. All organic plastic toys have been certified since 2010. The toy must meet strict requirements for the plastic mixture. It must not contain any pollutants such as phatalates, perfumes, BPA or environmental hormones. Requirements for the safety and quality of the toy must also be met.
Bio-plastic minimizes the CO2 content of the atmosphere and the sugar cane used for this comes from controlled and non-toxic plantations in central and southern Brazil. The sugar cane is harvested every six to twelve months. It is a 100% sustainable raw material. The products can be 100% recycled after use.
All dantoy toys are extremely robust and stable, which is particularly noticeable in the strength of the material.
Tiny and BIO product lines impress with their robustness and quality
The tiny line is a product line made from bio-plastic and TPE plastic, which has been designed for children from the age of zero. The baby products from dantoy convince with very pleasant colors that convey simplicity and security. Based on the latest color trends, without gloss or bright color effects, so that a quiet environment can be created for the child. The products also impress with their natural look, which can be wonderfully integrated into the sustainably designed children's room.
The tiny line was developed so that new parents don't have to worry when the babies put the toy in their mouth and chew on it. The toy supports the child's development because it stimulates the senses and focuses on playful learning.
You will find teething rings in six funny animal shapes and pleasant colors in the tiny collection. The different forms are designed to stimulate the senses and relieve pain when teething. The tiny assortment also includes stacking cups and toy cars, which are intended to promote learning and activate the senses. The baby learns to build with the stacking cups and to discover different shapes and colors as well as logical connections.
The organic line from dantoy scores with great toys for indoors and outdoors. With the bucket set you can play both alone and together. Playing with sand and water is very important for developing the senses of young children.
The "I´m green" organic plastic range is an environmentally friendly selection of plastic toys that have also been awarded the "Nordic Swan" environmental label. All products are available in the trendy color trends, inspired by the pej groups, a Scandinavian trend institute for color trends.
All products in the BIO and tiny series are intended for indoor and outdoor use and were developed with the youngest in mind.
Plastic made from sugar cane and bamboo to protect the environment
Bioplastic consists of at least 90 percent sugar cane instead of crude oil, as in conventional PE. The area approved for sugar cane cultivation is controlled by Sugarcane Agreocological Zoning, an arm of the Brazilian government. The sugar cane is transported by train because it is more environmentally friendly than by truck. Bioplastics are produced using the same machines and systems as conventional plastics, so there is no need to invest again.
Many dantoy toys are packaged in gift boxes made from recycled paper and can be easily gift-wrapped. Here too, dantoy pays attention to environmental friendliness and sustainability.
