Lillagunga

In 2013 the label was founded in Helsinki by father Anton Stenfors. First and foremost, Lillagunga has made a name for itself by reinventing the classic wooden swing. Lillagunga's aim from the very beginning has been to create classic wooden products with great aesthetics by giving them a touch of modern simplicity and highest quality. The products are in the timeless Scandinavian design tradition and are both designed and produced in Finland. The label has already won an award in the field of interior design. Lillagunga: Classic swing in timeless modern aesthetic design

 It is no coincidence that the swing has been around as a playground equipment for almost 3,500 years. A swing is a classic piece of furniture that is loved by children and adults all over the world. The product has already proven itself and will not go out of fashion any time soon. The name Lillagunga is self-explanatory, as it is derived from the Swedish word "small swing".

The story of Lillagunga began in the summer of 2010 when Anton Stenfors, the founder of Lillagunga, was looking for a good, visually appealing and quality swing for his sons. He did not like the swing models on the market, so he decided to design a swing himself. From this thought came the first model, the Lillagunga Classic swing, which was launched in 2013.

After extensive market research, Anton realized that the first prototype of his self-designed swing was not only the answer to a father's needs, but also a real market niche for families looking for a functional and aesthetically pleasing swing. Lillagunga was founded in 2013 with the intention of becoming one of the leading manufacturers of reinvented design classics for every home. The design of the Classic swing was awarded in the same year at the Interior Design Reporter competition. The success was the incentive to create further timeless design classics in Scandinavian style.

One year later, in 2014, the Lillagunga Grand was created, a swing for older children and adults. The idea of this swing was to create a product that serves all age groups. In September 2015 the Lillagunga Toddler, a swing for small children, was introduced at Helsinki Design Week with great success. With its beautiful shape and handmade double-layer genuine leather seat, the Lillagunga Toddler swing soon became the company's flagship.

Shortly before Christmas 2015 the current bestsellers, the Lillagunga gymnastic rings, were added to the collection and it didn't take long before they became a permanent hit in the children's room.

Today Lillagunga has several stores in Finland and offers its products online all over the world. The aim is to develop new products that are of exceptional quality and to make a name for itself as a brand of high-quality design.

Swings and gymnastic rings in wood for every age group

The Lillagunga product family consists of three different models of wooden swings for babies, children and adults as well as gymnastic rings in different colours. The products are made of white lacquered birch and natural oak. The wood is combined with a wide range of different rope colours to suit different styles and tastes. There is also a patented rope lock with which the height of the swing can be adjusted easily, quickly and safely.

The naturally designed products combine the classic vintage style with Scandinavian influences. The products radiate peace and serenity and the simple design and fresh colours of the wood are a real eye-catcher in every child's room. The products can be wonderfully combined with other furniture in Scandinavian style. The swings are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and the lacquer finish withstands the weather conditions.
