This ensures healthy sleep, which is a very important topic for healthy development, especially for children. The label was created when the founders and parents Verena and Nicolas were looking for suitable bedding for their children and discovered that there were nowhere products in this area that they could trust. That is why they decided to set up their own label that offers pure and natural bedding. Manufacturing in Germany was an important detail for them. Many discussions were held on site with the possible producers in order to make the production process as transparent and sustainable as possible.

The duvets and pillows from murmunto organics are very easy to care for. Because children's blankets have to withstand a lot, they are not only used for sleeping, caves are built from them, or used as a cloak on cold days. That is why the materials are selected in such a way that they are washable without them forming lumps.

At murmunto organics, we also ensure that children move around a lot during sleep, which is why the bedding can absorb moisture and regulate the temperature. This can primarily be natural fibers such as lyocell, kapok and cotton.

Production in small numbers in artisanal factories in Germany

When selecting the producers for the bedding, it was important for the founders to find a partner who shares their philosophy and the demand for sustainability. Together with the manufacturer, they developed the products and discovered their passion and enthusiasm for natural materials.

First and foremost at murmunto organics is the selection of the right materials, which are of quality and provide security. The label's design motto is “maximally functional and deliberately simple”. If possible, only materials are used that are certified and therefore meet the highest standards. This means that the materials for children must have properties such as high temperature and humidity regulation as well as high breathability.

With the selection of natural raw materials, murmunto organics would like to contribute to more environmentally friendly cultivation and species-appropriate animal husbandry. Only certified raw materials without harmful substances such as artificial fertilizers or pesticides are used with the exception of kapok fiber. This is only collected in the wild by local farmers and is therefore not certified, but it is also 100% pollutant-free and natural. That is why the children's duvets from murmunto organics are a very good alternative to polyester, for example. Children who have an allergy in particular benefit from these materials.
